Rescheduled for September 26th

As you know, The Davis Companies Just Plane Fun Client Appreciation Event was scheduled for this past Saturday. The response has been tremendous and we were very excited to be able to offer our clients such a unique and exciting opportunity as a token of our appreciation. Unfortunately, sometimes even the best laid plans can be derailed in the most unexpected ways. Despite all of the planning, two major and unexpected events stand in our way.

Our first problem is the weather. It’s not just going to rain this weekend; the forecasts are now indicating that Hurricane Danny will be strongly effecting the New England area mid-day on Saturday. Although the event could still go on in the rain, it would mean that access to the planes would be severely limited. We want you to have the chance get up close and climb up inside some really cool planes, see how they work, and sit in the cockpits.

In addition to the rain, we have a second problem. With the passing of Senator Kennedy and his services this weekend, many foreign dignitaries will be arriving in New England. Although that might seem unrelated, heightened security in the area is prompting temporary airspace restrictions that will prevent some of the planes from being able to fly into the Nashua airport for our event.

Due to these unique and unexpected circumstances we have decided that it is best to reschedule the event so that it truly can be a great experience for everyone involved. The new date is Saturday, September 26th, 2009 from 10am – 4pm. We will send additional emails and correspondence about the event over the next couple weeks, but in the meantime, please accept our apologies and mark your calendars. This will be an event that you simply don’t want to miss.
